4: Actively Seeking Investment
eGBP Digital Sterling Limited is currently seeking investment from various different sources.
As we are now ready to build out our ecosystem platform, we are seeking investment to get the ball rolling. eGBP is offering equity in the company for the right investor. We have had discussions with several entities now that have showed an interest. Talks are ongoing. The eGBP Foundation team has been working hard for 2 years now, to bring a viable product to market, that complies with U.K. regulations, set forth by the F.C.A.
eGBP also took the decision to apply for the Innovate U.K. government grant to allow us to offset some of the cost of the startup. We took a lot of time over the application that has some really tricky questions. Another limitation was the word-count. Being able to explain our business with a small amount of words was a challenge, but we believe our application is strong and has a good chance of succeeding.
We will find out about our applications success on 13th of January 2023. If we are successful, the award will give us a great financial boost from the start of development and will also help attract investors.
