5: What Makes eGBP Different?
Our whole ethos at eGBP Foundation, is to bring modern banking to as many people as possible. We want to enable safe, swift financial transactions for everyone, not just the technically minded or younger generations. As part of our inclusion program, we will be encouraging over 40’s to take part in learning modules to build knowledge and trust in blockchain tech.
Trust is a big part of what we do, and we hope that we earn the trust of millions when we launch. We will always allow the publishing or proof of reserves and will publish company accounts annually on the Companies House register.
Our team consists of several experts in the finance and investment sectors, hoping to bring their knowledge to our project and introduce networks of partners and investors. David and Jose have proven records in the finance industry, whereas Justin has experience managing investment portfolios for high net worth individuals. With their direction, we have endeavoured to build a regulatory compliant company that benefits from excellent, cutting edge technology and mature and experienced financial decision making.
We feel that we have a responsibility to bank the unbanked. Its now become somewhat of a cliche to say this phrase, but it has never been more true than today. As part of our inclusion program, we will offer sessions around the UK, freely available to minorities and those living in poverty. Poverty is a real problem in the UK, even in 2023. We would aim to offer learning sessions to encourage healthier financial habits and financial planning strategies, as well as access to an eGBP Digital Sterling account, to start using our services and begin their journey to healthier financial wellbeing.
2023 really will be the year to watch out for! We are aiming to announce several key partnerships, deals and promotions via our usual social media channels, our blog and newsletter.
